  6. Once browned add a splash of balsamic vinegar to the pan and use a wooden spoon to scrape up the bits.
  7. Add your onions, peppers, and garlic to the pot, cook until everything begins to soften.
  8. Add the rest of the ingredients, stir together and let it lightly simmer on the stove on medium low for 1-2 hours.
